How Long Does It Take to See a Practitioner at TruMed?Booking an appointment with someone at TruMed is straightforward. How Often Will I Need to Return?The frequency of your appointments depends on your health concerns, treatment plan and progress. Our naturopathic doctors aim to address your primary concerns through an individualized treatment approach. Many patients may require approximately 3–5 visits, often spaced several weeks or months apart, although the number of appointments varies. Some therapies, including IV Therapy and acupuncture, may involve more frequent visits when beginning treatment. Your practitioner will recommend a schedule based on your individual needs. How Much Does It Cost to See a Practitioner?For many naturopathic consultations at our Edmonton clinic:
Coverage depends on your individual extended health benefits plan and available naturopathic coverage. Some patients may have their consultation fees covered in full. We also offer Direct Billing for eligible naturopathic services. Nurse Practitioner services, including HRT and TRT consultations, may have different coverage arrangements. Insurance coverage varies, and patients should confirm eligibility with their provider.
